Dr. Lorie Hood is a board certified Forensic Traumatologist and Prevention Scientist with over 30 years of experience in the treatment of and recovery from both individual and mass trauma. She developed The Hood Group High Stakes Performance(sm) (HSP) method (2012), which increases human focus and performance while reducing the potential for trauma and burnout.
In 2022, Dr Hood turned her experience and expertise in forensic psychology and trauma to the study of Elder Abuse - specifically, Undue Influence. She researches and writes on the literature and practical gaps between the psychological and legal fields.
Dr. Hood is available to speak and train attorneys, law enforcement, and prosecutors on Undue Influence.

Dr. Hood is an ICF Master Certified Coach and is board certified in emergency crisis response, domestic violence and forensic traumatology (Diplomate Credential). She has experience with both government and non-government agencies.
